I am delighted to offer Knitting Lessons at Tropical Hummingbird. I am welcoming complete beginners as well as those who already knit and would like to develop their skills and confidence.
Each lesson is personally taught by me, face-to-face here on the Wirral Peninsula, in a friendly and relaxed setting. Sessions last a full hour and are available on four days each week; giving you plenty of flexibility when choosing a time that suits you.
You can enjoy the individual attention of a one-to-one lesson, or bring a friend and learn together as a pair – a lovely way to share the experience while also making your lessons more affordable. Lessons are open to everyone from the age of 8, with no upper age limit.
Whether you are picking up knitting needles for the very first time or looking to develop the skills you already have, our friendly, relaxed lessons are designed to help you learn at your own pace. Knitting is creative, practical and wonderfully rewarding – a traditional craft that can bring a lifetime of enjoyment and the satisfaction of making something truly your own.
Best of all, it is a skill that can stay with you for a lifetime. Learn a skill for life and help keep the British tradition of knitting alive.

By booking and paying for an appointment, you are agreeing to the below terms of engagement.
Terms of Engagement:
1. For all under 18 child learners a guardian, carer or parent’s presence in the room is required at all times. Where an adult learner requires a carer or support person to participate safely in the lesson, that person must remain present in the lesson throughout.

3. Rescheduling classes are allowed with a notice period of 48 hours (2 days) without any financial penalty.
4. Late arrival: lessons still finish at the scheduled time if the learner arrives late.
5. Pair bookings: If one of the two people cannot attend, the lesson will proceed for the remaining learner and the absent person’s place isn’t refunded.
6. Tropical Hummingbird cancels: the learner/s will be offered a rescheduled lesson or full refund.
7. Materials and equipment: Learners can bring their own materials and equipment or ask for it to be provided at a small cost.
