2. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our website by consumers in the United Kingdom.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
3. Products
We sell wool and wool-based products.
Due to the natural characteristics of wool:
- colour, texture, thickness, and finish may vary between batches
- minor variations do not constitute a defect
Product descriptions and photographs are provided for guidance only and aim to represent the product accurately.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in GBP.
We are not VAT registered, and VAT is not charged on any orders.
For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom, customers are responsible for any import duties, local taxes, or customs charges that may be applied by the destination country.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where pricing errors or payment issues occur.
5. Order Acceptance
An order is not accepted until we issue an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to cancel an order prior to dispatch if:
- the product is unavailable
- an error has occurred in pricing or description
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse
If payment has been taken, it will be refunded.
6. Delivery
Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided.
Ownership passes once payment has been received in full.
If goods arrive damaged or missing, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence.
7. Consumer Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing.
You must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation:
- unused
- in original condition
- in original packaging
Unless the goods are faulty, you are responsible for return postage costs.
8. Refunds
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
We reserve the right to reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.
9. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If goods are faulty or misdescribed, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Act.
10. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to this:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- we are not liable for loss of profit, business, or opportunity
- our total liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased
11. Use of Products
Our products are sold for standard consumer use only.
Our products are not toys and must be used with appropriate care.
The buyer(s)/user(s) is/are responsible for ensuring general safe use and usage around children and animals.
We accept no liability for damage, injury, or loss arising from:
- misuse
- use outside normal, intended purposes
- do not leave children and animals alone with string or yarn for their own safety
- failure to supervise children or animals when the product is in use
12. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text and images, is owned by us or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
