This 100% pure alpaca is made using grade 1 alpaca fleece, ideal for hand knitting/crochet. £5/100g (approx. 125m). Sourced directly from the factory, we have low costs. These saving are passed onto our customers.

This lovely yarn is a heavy gauge DK or a medium gauge Worsted/Aran yarn. Additionally it is anti-pilling, machine washable non-prickly, and will be a pleasure to work with and wear.
Due to alpaca’s natural properties, (with no lanolin or oils) this yarn is not prone to shrinkage post washing. Alpaca yarn is 33% warmer than merino wool. Alpaca fibres are very fine, leading to an extremely soft spun yarn that does not irritate/prick skin. Alpaca fibres have a hollow structure. This property retains heat in the winters and is cool in the summers.
